The Certified Global Payroll Professional (CGPP) is an internationally accredited certification program designed to equip learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical expertise in managing payroll operations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
As organizations continue to expand globally, payroll professionals must navigate complex challenges involving international tax laws, statutory compliance, social insurance contributions, labor regulations, pension systems, payroll deductions, and country-specific reporting requirements. Managing payroll across different countries requires not only technical knowledge but also the ability to ensure compliance while maintaining payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
This program provides a practical, application-focused approach to international payroll management. Unlike traditional payroll courses that focus only on concepts, CGPP combines global payroll theory with country-specific legislation, real payroll scenarios, practical calculations, and hands-on exercises designed to prepare learners for real-world payroll responsibilities.
Participants will gain detailed insights into payroll systems and compliance requirements across major global regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other international markets. The course explores payroll setup, employee onboarding, tax compliance, statutory deductions, labor insurance requirements, pension contributions, payroll audits, reporting obligations, and payroll software applications.
A key highlight of the program is the Global Payroll Project, where learners will complete a full Gross-to-Net payroll calculation using real-world country-specific payroll data. This practical project helps participants apply their learning and build confidence in handling international payroll operations.
By the end of the program, learners will possess the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence required to manage multi-country payroll operations, ensure global compliance, and pursue rewarding careers in international payroll management.
